Specific Details - The Zenia-Hoaglin-Kettempom area is located in Southern Trinity County, about 200 miles north of San Francisco. Even though a rather remote and mountainous district with no real "town", there is a strong sense of community identity and neighborly personal involvement. As in many rural areas, a food-laden table is often the center of any gathering and pot-luck dinners at the local one-room schoolhouse are a frequent and welcomed event.
